Microsoft seems to have settled into a consistent cadence of first-party releases over the last year or so, and is set to end the year strong with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The first-person action-adventure title has looked promising in all that we’ve seen of it so far, and now, developer MachineGames has offered further details on the game’s technical targets.

Speaking with Windows Central, creative director Axel Torvenius revealed that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is going to target 60 FPS on both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. What resolutions the game will be targeting and whether players can expect multiple graphics modes remains to be seen, but Torvenius suggests those details will be shared in the weeks ahead.

“It might be that we will release even more details in terms of specifics, technical details, as we get closer to launch, once we see all the telemetry on performance,” he said. “But what I can tell you is that the ambition is that the game runs at 60 FPS on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and that, you know, it shouldn’t be compromised in the visuals or the experience of the product. It should feel cohesive, running smoothly at 60 on both.”

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is due out on December 9 for Xbox Series X/S and PC, and is due out for PS5 in Spring 2025.
