GSC Game World’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is the latest Xbox console exclusive to be announced for PS5. According to a new trailer via IGN, which sees the player character (and other NPCs) enjoying the PS5 version, it’s out in late 2025.
Alongside support for the DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, it will feature enhancements on PS5 Pro. The survival sandbox shooter is available for Xbox Series X/S, PC and Game Pass – you can check out our review of the launch version here.
Despite reaching six million players last March, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has received criticism for bugs, performance issues and a relative lack of NPC realism. It rolled out several patches to address the same with the latest adding new weapons and fully implementing A-Life 2.0. Check out more details here.
Stay tuned for more updates on the PS5 version in the meantime. Other previously Xbox-exclusive titles coming to the console include Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, which launches on August 12th.
