The year has seen many bizarre titles, big and small, and Bokeh Game Studio’s Slitterhead undoubtedly ranks among them. If you ever wanted to take the plunge, a free demo is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

The demo includes the first chapter and save data transfers to the game. For those who enjoy the demo and want more, Slitterhead is discounted on the PlayStation Store, Steam and Epic Games Store thanks to ongoing Holiday sales, retailing for $34.99. Unfortunately, since there’s no sale for Xbox, Series X/S players will have to settle for full price.

Directed by Keiichiro Toyama, who created horror classics like Silent Hill and Siren, Slitterhead is about Hyoki, who roams the streets of Kowlong in pursuit of the Slitterheads. Though lacking a form, he can possess humans known as Rarities and use their unique abilities to fight back. Check out our review of the game here.
