A new year means a new Formula One title from Codemasters. F1 25 launches next month for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, and while plenty is new, it also marks the return of Braking Point. Check out the latest trailer below to learn about the trials and tribulations faced by Konnersport.
The fictional team has its work cut out against top-tier teams, but things turn chaotic due to a “dramatic event.” Details are pending, but it seems antagonist Devon Butler suffers a paradigm shift, presenting an opportunity for Callie Mayer (who previously won the F2 Championship).
Player agency and animations are improved in Braking Point 3 – for the first time, you can choose which driver to control. Difficulty levels have been rebalanced, “Meet the Press” promises to be more authentic, and facial animations have leveled up courtesy of Nvidia Audio2Face. Codemasters also promises a “complete experience,” even if you haven’t played the previous Braking Point campaigns.
F1 25 is available on May 31st with Iconic Edition pre-orders granting three days of early access and perks for Lewis Hamilton based on F1 The Movie.
